Filling out this application does not guarantee you will be selected as a guest cosplayer. In the event of two applications of equal quality, the first application received will be selected. Neosho Arts Council wants to insure a variety of quality guest cosplayers for ArtCon.

If application is approved you may request to be set up next to a friend during the payment process. We will do our best to accommodate that request.

ArtCon welcomes cosplayers of all backgrounds, genres, and levels of experience to apply to appear. There are no minimum social media reach requirements nor minimum amount of years cosplaying required. ArtCon is interested in cosplayers who are consistently striving to elevate their craftsmanship skills and emulate characters in their cosplay.

• We welcome solo and established group cosplayers.
• Cosplayers must be age 18+ to apply
• Cosplayers who are age 15 - 17 may have a parent contact us at [email protected] to get approval to apply

In order to be considered as an invited cosplay guest at ArtCon:

• We would prefer (but not required) you demonstrate proficiency in one or more aspect of costume construction such as sewing, material work (leather, metals etc), specialty material work (Worbla, EVA foam etc), hair/wigs, makeup or props
• Be willing to participate in programming elements
• Agrees to follow our general cosplay rules found here (on the cosplay contest page)
• We welcome groups with large props and vehicles too!

Invited Cosplay Guests will Receive:

• One free badge for cosplayer or One Free badge per group members (5 members in your established group = 5 free badges) (non-transferable)
  
• One free booth space with table and chair(s)
• Appearance listing on the show website and on select promotional materials at ArtCon's discretion
• Access to Guest Cosplayers Green Room near restrooms not being used by attendees
• Cosplay Guests are not eligible to enter cosplay contest

 
Cosplay Guest Guidelines :

• Cosplay Guests may only sell their own original merch (stickers, buttons, etc), artwork, and creations that relate to your cosplay(s)
• Cosplay Guests may not sell “mass produced” items (that's action figures, comics, etc.)
• Can not charge a fee for photos (but also not required to take photos with attendees)
• The sale of real weapons is prohibited. (Seriously!)
• The sale of food/drink/candy, CBD products, and spa products is prohibited.
  
• You may not display material deemed offensive or inappropriate. (For example we understand there is a difference between nude art and porn...no porn...this is an all ages, family event ok? Cool beans.)

Set up will be available:
Friday January 31 from 5:30 to 7:30pm (Please note we can't start marking booths til 4:00pm...like I can't walk in the door til 4:00pm but we plan to hit the marking like a SWAT Team! So bear with us on this one!)

Saturday February 1 from 7:00am to 9:30am. ArtCon opens to the public at 10:00am and all booths must be ready to go!

Cancellation Policy
If selected and you need to cancel your appearance please let us know as soon as possible.

Weather Policy
We will hold ArtCon rain or shine...but in the case of extreme weather in Neosho, MO we will contact you ASAP and alert you to the situation.
